I'm a 37 year old single Mum of 3 girls, 8,6 and 5 and I'm surrounded by a
loving and caring family and we all live on the family farm in
Australia. I had a RTHR on 15th August 2003 and the device used was the
new and in trial Silent Hip from DePuy. So far it has been amazing, I've
been back doing ballet, pointe, tap dancing and riding my mountain bike
for the last 6 weeks. And my hip survived its first run on the tractor
this afternoon and after 3 hours constant my non op leg was the worse for
wear.

, this is my right hip, installed Dec 1981, still working but with problems.
thinking about a new one but worried that there isn't enough bone to re-due.
Does anyone know what type of hip this is ? Thanks. Mike. |
